Each square has a book genre or activity. Each square completed gets you a raffle ticket. Each Bingo gets you an extra ticket!
Drop the ticket in the bucket of the prize you hope to win!
Bingo starts Monday, June 29th and ends Monday, August 3rd
Rules:
- This is a 6-week program. As such, it is only open to cardholders that are able to participate all summer.
- Books must be from our library or Overdrive/Libby, checked out on or after the date you sign up to play. No previous checkouts are eligible.
- Bingo sheet is stamped only when books are returned, so you’ll need to bring the books to the desk with your card.
- Books read should correspond with your reading level, unless noted. Ex: adults need to read adult-reading-level books.
- Entry implies permission for use of name and picture of winners for library use, posted in the library, online and in the media.

Summer Reading Kick-Off: Dinosaurs Rock with Mr. Aaron
Tuesday, June 30th 11am **at the Colonial Theatre**
Mr. Aaron gets the audience moving and grooving with Dinosaur songs, stories, puppets and more. Mr. Aaron sings, plays the guitar, the saxophone, and also teaches the participants how to beatbox for a special live-looping one-of-a-kind collaborative dinosaur song that we create on the spot. Join in this high energy interactive music show and let’s see what kind of musical stories we unearth!

Laura Knoy hosted NHPR’s news and public affairs call-in show “The Exchange,” leaving in 2021 after 25 years. She now helps organizations with their public communications, from special interviews and events to podcasting to narrations. And she launched a podcast titled ReadLocalNH. It’s all about celebrating New Hampshire’s authors, independent bookstores, and their loyal readers.
The Shopkeeper of Alsace is her first novel. It’s an uplifting tale of family, love, resilience, and one unstoppable woman. Perfect for fans of We Were the Lucky Ones, The Nightingale, and The Alice Network.

Food & Family History
Monday, July 20th 6pm
Food tells a story and is a wonderful way to learn about family history and culture.
Participants will prepare and bring a dish that represents their family history, along with the written recipe to share. We’ll all taste the foods and we’ll learn why the food is important to their family or culture, or the special story of why this recipe is significant to them. Everyone will go home with all recipes.
**Please RSVP for this program so we know how much food people should make, and how many paper goods we need**

Birds are Dinosaurs – Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS)

What did 65 million years of evolution turn the dinosaurs into? Birds!
You’ll be excited to meet some live birds of prey and learn all about their dinosaur ancestry. We’ll explore the ways modern birds became masters of the air, and understand the immense timescale over which these dinosaur-descendants adapted!

Colonial-Era New Hampshire – Author Michael Bruno

Author Visit: Duncan Watson
Thursday, August 6th 6pm
Whether you know him as the childhood voice of Charlie Brown, a yoga teacher, or the Assistant Director of Public Works for the city of Keene NH, you’ll find all those threads in this book!
The book looks the social aspects of recycling and landfills, in a story with characters who populate the “dump” in Keene, providing lots of laughs.
